Letter from the PCAA President

Dear Alumni,

This issue’s article about Purchase drag culture is a flashback to Fall Ball!

It's also a reminder that we have an opportunity to share memories that connect us with current students. These connections can put them on the path to success.

We’ve made it our goal to foster community among our alumni and empower Purchase students and graduates with the resources they need to become leaders in their fields.

The Alumni Association’s four pillars for the year are:

Communication

Purchase College is enhancing and promoting the mentoring platform that connects experienced alumni with students
and recent graduates. The Neuberger Museum and The PAC are keeping interested alumni informed about upcoming events and performances. purchase.edu/calendar

Experiences

Alumni Weekend 2024: We’re excited to reconnect with all of you April 26 & 27 so we can align our time on campus with many of the exciting end-of-year student showcases and symposiums. purchase.edu/alumni

Volunteerism

PCAA Affinity Groups are organizing a year-long series of personal and professional development events. In October, the Purchase LatinX Alumni Network (PLXN) with Latine Unidos hosted a conversation to explore the importance of mentorships
for first-generation LatinX students. purchase.edu/affinity

Philanthropy

Pay it forward by giving of your time, talent, or treasure. Whatever contribution is possible for you will benefit the campus, the student experience, and the alumni population. We pave the way for the classes that come next.
